The Montreal Free School is a network of community members devoted to providing free informal learning opportunities. We are having two general meetings in early September, where everyone is invited to come and learn about the MFS and find out what workshops are available in the next few months. We’ve already got an exciting lineup for the fall. If you are thinking about putting on your own workshop, and I know a lot of people in this group are, you can sign up for the space and timeslot that works best for you, and promote your event at the same time. If you aren’t quite sure about facilitating one, there will be people there to encourage you and resources to help you out. You will also hear about the community partners who are hosting MFS workshops. We are also looking for decision-makers and action-takers to help us out with the organizational aspects of the MFS, and would appreciate anyone who wants to sign up to be an organizer.
